Staying in Cornwall gives you access to one of our great assets, the South West Coast Path. You are never very far from it, especially when staying at The Rosevine, it is literally at the end of the lane. There are many different walks for varying abilities in the local area, and are a fabulous way of taking in the local attractions, scenery, plant life and sea life.
Pack a picnic, which you can book in advance with our reception team, don walking shoes and head out to explore. What’s more, many of the beaches accessed via the coastal paths are dog friendly, our closest beach, Porthcurnick is open to dogs all year round.
A popular all day circular walk from our doorstep:
Take the path alongside Porthcurnick Beach heading towards the pretty fishing village of Portscatho and then follow taking in sites such as the St Anthony Lighthouse, spectacular views of Falmouth, Pendennis Castle and its world famous harbour, St Mawes Castle, down to Place House, a replica French Chateau, and enjoy amazing clifftop views and unspoilt beaches. Pick up a map from the House – we have plenty!
